Another year has come and gone, with spring upon us we would like to take the time to fill you in on the improvements and new developments that have been taking place at your Resort.

We are proud to announce the completion of the Front Desk remodeling project at the Towne Center. The banquet/meeting room has been converted into the new, upgraded check-in area for all owners and guests. This expanded “one stop” center will provide a quick check in process as well as easy access to the Guest Services and Ticket Sales departments. Equipped with new furniture and WI-FI access, you will have a comfortable facility to start your vacation or visit with old friends you may meet upon arrival. The floors have been updated with new tile, the walls freshly painted and the check-in counter expanded in order to expedite your registration process and relieve waiting times.

A long awaited milestone took place on January 12, 2008 with the Grand Re-opening of the indoor pool at Carriage Place. Once the pool was drained and prepped for remodeling, our team completely resurfaced the floor and relined the pool with new fiber glass. The housing around the pool was also updated with all new shingles, doors and windows. There are also plans to add changing rooms in the near future. We appreciate your patience and understanding during completion of this important project.

Surrey Condominium Owners, you will be pleased to know we have finished remodeling Building “F”. All the units were updated with new furniture/decorations and fresh paint, including 42” Flat Screen TV’s. The kitchen floors have all new tiles, counter tops and cabinets. The exterior received extensive siding and decking repairs along with new patio furniture sets. The next building targeted for remodeling is Building “E”.

Grand Crowne Resorts Owners, it is our pleasure to introduce the “Wall of Heroes” in the Veteran’s Memorial Room located in Building “6”. This exhibit features a tribute to the POW/MIA soldiers; including pictures and other interesting artifacts. During your next visit with us we welcome you to take a moment and enjoy the memorabilia of those who fought for our freedom.

As mentioned earlier, Wireless internet has recently been installed in the newly remodeled Towne Center. This has been a number one suggestion from our guests. Therefore, we are excited to announce WI-FI is also available in the owners’ lounge (located in Building “I” basement at Carriage Place), the breakfast area at the Surrey Inn Hotel and the Veterans Memorial Room located at Grand Crowne Resorts.

Many of the property improvements and development completed or currently under way are a result of the comment cards turned in by owners and guests. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to further suggestions that may arise during your future visits.

Highlight your trip by experiencing the activities offered at the Grand Crowne Resorts for little or no cost. The Activities department is located in the lower level of Building "I" at Carriage Place. Every day we strive to offer our owners and guests something fun to create. We are a family-oriented business and want to help you create your own family memories. So, bring your camera and we will take pictures of you and your family creating memories!

Grand Crowne Resorts is proud to announce the addition of Wi-Fi hot spots for internet usage. The hot spots are located in the Towne Center, Owners Lounge and Surrey Inn as well as being available at Grand Crowne Resort in Building 6 at the Veterans Room.

The activities department is now offering activities for toddlers too! Come to the activities department to see all the new, exciting activities we have to offer!
